Lemony Chicken Spaghetti

We like this as a change to the classic spaghetti. You can substitute a can of asparagus for the peas. If using asparagus, chop it into small pieces. I like it with the asparagus but my kids prefer the peas.

Ingredients

8 oz
uncooked spaghetti
3 Tbsp
butter
2 c
cubed, cooked chicken
2 Tbsp
flour
1 c
milk
3 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 can(s)
peas, drained

How to Make Lemony Chicken Spaghetti

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook spaghetti as directed. Drain.
  • 2In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  • 3Add flour and stir to blend.
  • 4Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly.
  • 5Add lemon juice and stir to blend.
  • 6Add chicken and peas. Stir to mix. Heat through.
  • 7Pour chicken mixture over cooked spaghetti.
