grandma's messy chicken
This is a simple recipe that my Mom used to make when I was a child. I made it for my children and now they make it for their children. It is great served over rice or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 - chicken, whole - cut into 8 pieces
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups flour, seasoned
- 4 tablespoons oil
How To Make grandma's messy chicken

Step 1Dredge cut-up chicken in seasoned flour.

Step 2Brown dredged chicken in oil. Place chicken in 4 quart pan.

Step 3Mix cream of chicken soup with milk and poultry seasoning. Pour over chicken and cover.

Step 4Place pan in preheated 350° oven. Bake for 1 hour.

Step 5Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving over rice or potatoes.

Step 6You can substitute 8 boneless, skinless half chicken breasts for the whole cut up chicken. reduce the oven time to 45 minutes.
