2In a small bowl,combine ground ginger, dry onion soup mix and black pepper;mix well
3Rinse chicken thoroughly inside and out under cold running water and remove all fat.Pat dry with paper towels.
4For Creamy Ginger Ranch Sauce;combine ranch dressing,cream cheese,ground ginger and heavy cream in a medium bowl,whisk together until blended and set aside.
5Place chicken into a small roasting pan.Rub the chicken with ginger mixture and spread creamy ginger ranch sauce all over the chicken.
6Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.Remove the chicken from the oven,baste it with remaining sauce and return to the oven for 40 minutes more.Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes and serve.
