This is an old recipe - one of which I relied on in my early bachelor days. I would invite a date to my home for dinner. They were probably expecting frozen pizza or oatmeal and were pleasantly surprised. Easy and delicious recipe.

  • 4
    half chicken breasts
  • 4 slice
    ham (i like black forest ham)
  • 4 slice
    cheese (swiss guyere is best)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 bunch
    chopped parsley

How to Make Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu


  1. Flatten the chicken breasts (between sheets of wax paper or clear wrap) with the flat side of a knife or with a bottle.
  2. Top each breast with the cheese and then the ham. Secure with toothpicks.
  3. In Skillet, brown chicken in the butter (chicken side down) for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in soup and the milk. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  5. Plate and top with the chopped parsley.
