Original recipe calls for 1 C. uncooked rice to replace quinoa grain. Try using pork steaks instead of chicken yum!

  • 8-10 slice
    bacon
  • 1 c
    quinoa grain, rinsed, uncooked.
  • 1
    fryer chicken, cut-up
  • dash
    salt, pepper & paprika
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • pinch
    nutmeg (don't leave out!)
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 2 Tbsp
    (heaping) parsley flakes

How to Make Death Chicken with Quinoa Grain

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 300°. Line a 9x13 baking dish with the uncooked bacon. Pour quinoa grain (uncooked) on top of bacon. Add cut up chicken on top of grains. Sprinkle salt, pepper & paprika over chicken. Whisk together the rest of ingredients and pour over chicken. Heavily cover with foil and bake at 300° for 2 hrs. No peeking while baking!
