This is what my oldest son wants for his birthday dinner every year. It is a popular menu item at many Chinese restaurants but none of the local restaurants serve it here in Wyoming. Unlike other versions of Bourbon Street Chicken this one actually contains bourbon. It is sweet, spicy, and delish. Adjust the heat to your preference, I usually keep it somewhat mild for the hubby, although; the rest of it prefer it a bit spicier. this recipe doubles well and I usually do because everyone wants the leftovers for lunch the next day.
