crisp coated baked chicken
Much easier than frying chicken. I've been making it this way for quite a while and everyone in the family seems to love it! Or they're lying to me so I don't quit cooking lol!

Ingredients
- 6-8 - chicken breasts (or leg quarters)
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup instant mashed potatoes
- dash garlic powder
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make crisp coated baked chicken

Step 1Wash chicken and pat dry.

Step 2Beat egg and milk in a bowl.

Step 3Mix flakes and garlic powder in another bowl.

Step 4Melt butter in shallow baking pan (I use 9 x 13).

Step 5Roll chicken in egg mixture, then potato mixture.

Step 6Roll coated chicken in butter. Place skin side up in pan, bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
