Much easier than frying chicken. I've been making it this way for quite a while and everyone in the family seems to love it! Or they're lying to me so I don't quit cooking lol!

chicken breasts (or leg quarters)
1 c
instant mashed potatoes
garlic powder
1/4 c
2 Tbsp

How to Make Crisp coated baked chicken


  • 1Wash chicken and pat dry.
  • 2Beat egg and milk in a bowl.
  • 3Mix flakes and garlic powder in another bowl.
  • 4Melt butter in shallow baking pan (I use 9 x 13).
  • 5Roll chicken in egg mixture, then potato mixture.
  • 6Roll coated chicken in butter. Place skin side up in pan, bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
