I usually leave the mushrooms out of this dish since my kids don't like them. You can sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if you like.

Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breasts

cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
peas, drained
1/4 c
milk
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1 1/2 tsp
paprika
1/4 tsp
white pepper
1 can(s)
mushrooms, optional
12 oz
egg noodles, uncooked
2 Tbsp
oil

How to Make Creamy Chicken and Noodles

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2Heat oil in a skillet. Cook the chicken until it is no longer pink. Drain the oil.
  • 3Add the other ingredients except the noodles. Stir to mix well.
  • 4Simmer on low heat for 15- 20 minutes.
  • 5Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain.
  • 6To serve, pour the chicken mixture over the noodles.
