I usually leave the mushrooms out of this dish since my kids don't like them. You can sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if you like.

    boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    peas, drained
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    mushrooms, optional
  • 12 oz
    egg noodles, uncooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil

How to Make Creamy Chicken and Noodles

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet. Cook the chicken until it is no longer pink. Drain the oil.
  3. Add the other ingredients except the noodles. Stir to mix well.
  4. Simmer on low heat for 15- 20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain.
  6. To serve, pour the chicken mixture over the noodles.
