From my mother-in-law. I understand real coq au vin should be with red wine, but this is what she uses and we love it!

Ingredients
- - boneless chicken pieces
- 1/2 cup flour (approximate)
- - garlic powder
- - salt and pepper
- 1 - onion, diced
- - olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup wine, riesling
- 1-2 tablespoon tomato paste
How To Make coq au vin

Step 1Combine flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a zip loc bag

Step 2Shake chicken pieces in flour mixture

Step 3Heat olive oil in pan, sauté onions until translucent, then add chicken and brown

Step 4Add tomato paste to chicken broth.

Step 5Once chicken is browned add chicken broth mixture and wine. Cover and cook until chicken is done
