boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2- inch thick strips
2 clove
garlic, minced
2 c
broccoli florets, cut into bite size pieces
2 medium
carrots, thinly sliced
1 medium
onion, chopped
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1/4 tsp
red pepper flakes
salt, to taste
3 c
cooked rice
1 can(s)
(14 1/2 ounce) italian style diced tomatoes
1/4 c
(1 ounce) grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Classic Chicken and Rice Primavera


  • 1Heat oil in 12- inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and garlic; cook, stirring 5 to 7 minutes or until chicken begins to brown.
  • 2Add broccoli, carrots, onion, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes and salt. Cook, stirring 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • 3Add rice and tomatoes. Stir until blended and thoroughly heated. Remove from heat; stir in Parmesan cheese.
