Chicken With Parmesan Cheese Sauce
2 Tbspbutter melted
1/4 cdry white wine
2 Tbspflour more or less to make a thick roux
1/2 cchicken stock
1/2 cheavy cream
1/2 cgrated parmesan cheese
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Chicken With Parmesan Cheese Sauce
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Mix lemon zest and butter together and place in bottom of baking pan. Add chicken and bake 35 to 45 minutes until chicken is done. Remove chicken and keep warm.
- Pour chicken drippings into sauce pan. Add wine and let most evaporate. Add flour enough to make a thick roux. slowly add in chicken stock and heavy cream. Let cook until thickened. Add parmesan cheese and season to taste. Serve over chicken
