Love this cheese sauce. Really perks up the flavor of chicken thighs.

chicken thighs
lemon zested
2 Tbsp
butter melted
1/4 c
dry white wine
2 Tbsp
flour more or less to make a thick roux
1/2 c
chicken stock
1/2 c
heavy cream
1/2 c
grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Chicken With Parmesan Cheese Sauce


  • 1Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • 2Mix lemon zest and butter together and place in bottom of baking pan. Add chicken and bake 35 to 45 minutes until chicken is done. Remove chicken and keep warm.
  • 3Pour chicken drippings into sauce pan. Add wine and let most evaporate. Add flour enough to make a thick roux. slowly add in chicken stock and heavy cream. Let cook until thickened. Add parmesan cheese and season to taste. Serve over chicken
