chicken pot pie made easy
When I get home from work, I want something hot and easy to make. After looking at the other recipes I gathered parts of them but adapted this recipe to our taste. It went over with husband and will be making it again. Sorry no photo, but husband got to it before could take one.

I think this would feed 3 adults easy. My husband I ate it and still had half of it left
Ingredients
- 3 medium boneless chicken breast
- 1 can cream mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 package mixed vegetables, frozen
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 package frozen pie crust use 2
How To Make chicken pot pie made easy

Step 1Thaw out (2) frozen deep dish pie crust while boiling chicken breast. Shred chicken after pink is gone.

Step 2Boil the mixed vegetables with the chopped onion in with them I use the package of carrots, green beans, corn, peas and lima beans.

Step 3Layer shredded chicken in bottom of pie crust, drain the mixed vegetables and spread over the chicken. Add the garlic salt, salt to taste, and pepper.

Step 4Mix the 2 soups with 1/2 cup of the broth that you cooked the chicken in. Mix well then spoon over the chicken and vegetables. Top with the 2nd pie crust.

Step 5With all the ingredients cooked I cooked mine until the pie crust on top was lightly browned.
