This is a favorite "go to" meal for busy nights. It is loaded with veggies so you don't need sides.

  • 2 pkg
    ramen noodles
  • 1 pkg
    chicken flavoring (from ramen )
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 3/4 c
    sesame oil
  • 1 can(s)
    broccoli florets
  • 1 medium
    carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c
    mushroom slices
  • 2
    chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
  • 1 c
    bean sprouts
  • 1 can(s)
    water chestnuts, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    bell pepper, diced
  • 2
    green onions, sliced small
  • 1 small
    yellow squash, diced

How to Make Chicken Lo Mein


  1. Cook noodles according to directions and drain. Heat oil in large skillet or wok.
  2. Add carrot, broccoli and bell pepper. Stir-Fry 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add remaining vegetables. Stir-fry an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken, seasonings and flavor packet from Ramen. Mix well.
  5. Add soy sauce. Heat through.
  6. Add noodles and toss to coat. Be sure noodles and veggies are mixed well.
  7. **You might want to break the noodles in half for easier mixing.
