My mom made a version of this dish as I was growing up and I loved it. My love of curry made me adjust her recipe to fit my own taste. This is an easy comfort food and my family loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag(s)
    frozen broccoli
  • 6
    chicken breast filets
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    mayo
  • 4 Tbsp
    curry powder
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 2 c
    cooked rice

How to Make Chicken Divan

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare rice. Brown chicken and chop into bite size pieces. Boil broccoli until tender.
  2. Layer chicken, then broccoli in a greased backing dish. Mix together the soup, mayo, lemon juice, and curry. Add rice and mix well. Top Chicken and broccoli with rice mixture.
  3. Top with bread crumbs and cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350.
