Not sure where I got this from,but it sure is good.Takes only about 20 minutes to put together so it's a quick and easy meal for after work.Add a salad and a roll and your good to go...I have made this without the ham and it's just as good.I hope you enjoy it

Ingredients

  • 1 pound - penne pasta
  • 1 cup - chicken breast,cooked and cubed
  • 1 cup - ham,cooked and cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups - milk
  • 8 oz - cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2Tbsp - dried minced onion
  • 2 cups - swiss cheese,shredded
  • 1 cup - panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup - butter, melted
  • - salt
  • - pepper

How To Make chicken cordon bleu casserole

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of water to a boil over med-high heat.Add salt and then add pasta.Cook as directed on box.Drain and return to pot. Add the chicken and ham,toss to combine
  • Step 2
    Preheat the broiler. In a medium saucepan,combine milk,cream cheese and minced onion over medium-low heat.Cook,stirring frequently,until it becomes smooth in texture (about 5 minutes)Stir into the pasta mixture.Stir in the swiss cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Transfer pasta to a baking dish and top with Panko crumbs.Pour melted butter over crumbs and broil until browned(about 4 mins)
