chicken cordon bleu casserole
Not sure where I got this from,but it sure is good.Takes only about 20 minutes to put together so it's a quick and easy meal for after work.Add a salad and a roll and your good to go...I have made this without the ham and it's just as good.I hope you enjoy it

- 1 pound penne pasta
- 1 cup chicken breast,cooked and cubed
- 1 cup ham,cooked and cubed
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 2Tbsp dried minced onion
- 2 cups swiss cheese,shredded
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- salt
- pepper
How To Make chicken cordon bleu casserole

Step 1Bring a large pot of water to a boil over med-high heat.Add salt and then add pasta.Cook as directed on box.Drain and return to pot. Add the chicken and ham,toss to combine

Step 2Preheat the broiler. In a medium saucepan,combine milk,cream cheese and minced onion over medium-low heat.Cook,stirring frequently,until it becomes smooth in texture (about 5 minutes)Stir into the pasta mixture.Stir in the swiss cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Transfer pasta to a baking dish and top with Panko crumbs.Pour melted butter over crumbs and broil until browned(about 4 mins)
