Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 - green onions, minced
- 4 ounces mushrooms, finely diced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 pound ground chicken (can also use ground turkey)
- 1/2 cup cooked barley
- 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 3 tablespoons olive oil for frying
How To Make chicken burgers

Step 1In nonstick skillet, cook the garlic, green onions and mushrooms, salt and marjoram over moderate heat for 6 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Step 2Transfer the mixture to a large bowl. Add the black pepper, soy sauce, chicken, barley and bread crumbs and mix well. Shape into patties on wax paper.

Step 3Heat the oil in skillet over moderate heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
