I found a recipe I thought was interesting, but had to put my own spin on it. The family said it is definitely a "keeper".

Ingredients For chicken, broccoli and dumpling casserole

  • 2 lb
    chicken tenders
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 2 c
    bisquick
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    chicken broth
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • onion powder, to taste
  • panko bread crumbs
  • parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg
    frozen broccoli, thawed

How To Make chicken, broccoli and dumpling casserole

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt stick of butter in 9 x 13 pan. Make sure to layer the ingredients in the following order.

    Cut chicken tenders into small pieces, spread evenly over melted butter, season with poultry seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder to taste.

    Spread broccoli over top of chicken layer.

    Mix together bisquick mix and milk and gently pour over broccoli.

    Blend cream of chicken soup and chicken broth and pour slowly over the top.
  • 6
    Top with panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.

    Bake a 400 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes and serve.
