chicken and rice casserole
This is a recipe from my mom. I'm sure there are probably lots of this type of recipe out there. Still, it's good and better yet, it's easy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk (1 or 2%)
- 1 cup rice, instant white or brown
- 1/2 package dry onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 4-8 - chicken pieces
- - salt
How To Make chicken and rice casserole

Step 1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Step 2In a large bowl, mix the soups, milk, and rice.

Step 3Pour into an 8x12 casserole dish.

Step 4Place lightly salted chicken pieces on top of the rice.

Step 5Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the top of the chicken pieces.

Step 6Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil.

Step 7Bake for one hour.

Step 8Uncover the casserole and bake for another ten minutes.
