Chicken and Broccoli with Bow Tie Pasta

A nice simple chicken dish. This can be made into a even quicker and easier meal by using left over cooked chicken or turkey. Add some garlic sticks and a glass of wine--you got dinner!

¼ cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ pound of boneless and skinless chicken breast halves, cut ½ inch thick
2 cups broccoli flowerets
1 cup cherry tomamtoes, halved
1 teaspoon fresh basil,chopped
salt and pepper to taste
½ cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon butter
½ pound of bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
parmesan cheese, freshly grated


1In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook pasta according to directions on package.
2Add garlic to skillet and Sauté the for 1 minute; add chicken strips. Sauté until chicken is completely cooked.
3Add the cherry tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, wine, butter, and the broccoli. Cook mixture for 3-5 minutes, or until heated thoroughly and broccoli is crisp-tender.
4Toss the cooked pasta with the chicken mixture. Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
