Chicken and Broccoli with Bow Tie Pasta

A nice simple chicken dish. This can be made into a even quicker and easier meal by using left over cooked chicken or turkey. Add some garlic sticks and a glass of wine--you got dinner!

    ¼ cup olive oil
  • ·
    2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ·
    ½ pound of boneless and skinless chicken breast halves, cut ½ inch thick
  • ·
    2 cups broccoli flowerets
  • ·
    1 cup cherry tomamtoes, halved
  • ·
    1 teaspoon fresh basil,chopped
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    ½ cup dry white wine
  • ·
    1 tablespoon butter
  • ·
    ½ pound of bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
  • ·
    parmesan cheese, freshly grated

How to Make Chicken and Broccoli with Bow Tie Pasta


  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook pasta according to directions on package.
  2. Add garlic to skillet and Sauté the for 1 minute; add chicken strips. Sauté until chicken is completely cooked.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, wine, butter, and the broccoli. Cook mixture for 3-5 minutes, or until heated thoroughly and broccoli is crisp-tender.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the chicken mixture. Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
