A nice simple chicken dish. This can be made into a even quicker and easier meal by using left over cooked chicken or turkey. Add some garlic sticks and a glass of wine--you got dinner!

Ingredients

  • - ¼ cup olive oil
  • - 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • - ½ pound of boneless and skinless chicken breast halves, cut ½ inch thick
  • - 2 cups broccoli flowerets
  • - 1 cup cherry tomamtoes, halved
  • - 1 teaspoon fresh basil,chopped
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • - ½ cup dry white wine
  • - 1 tablespoon butter
  • - ½ pound of bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
  • - parmesan cheese, freshly grated

How To Make chicken and broccoli with bow tie pasta

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook pasta according to directions on package.
  • Step 2
    Add garlic to skillet and Sauté the for 1 minute; add chicken strips. Sauté until chicken is completely cooked.
  • Step 3
    Add the cherry tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, wine, butter, and the broccoli. Cook mixture for 3-5 minutes, or until heated thoroughly and broccoli is crisp-tender.
  • Step 4
    Toss the cooked pasta with the chicken mixture. Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
