You may think cherries on chicken,, but give it a try, super moist and really good. Goes great on a sandwich too

Ingredients

  • 4-8 - boneless skinless chicken breat( or any cut you want)
  • 1 can dark cherries( do use pie filling)
  • 1/2 cup green onions ( greens & white)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

How To Make cherry grilled chicken

  • Step 1
    Combine everything but the chicken into a food processor. Blend until all mixed and chopped well.
  • Step 2
    Place chicken into a large ziploc bag ( depending on how many pieces you are using) or a large bowl with lid. Pour cherries over chicken, coat well and stick in fridge to marinate for at least 3 hour.
  • Step 3
    Yes, the chicken will be a reddish or purplish color, doesn't matter. Fire up the grill and cook over indirect heat until almost done, move chicken to flames for a couple minutes on each side to get some good grill marks. ( Can bake in oven if ya want, I will say, 350 until done)
