  • 4-8
    boneless skinless chicken breat( or any cut you want)
  • 1 can(s)
    dark cherries( do use pie filling)
  • 1/2 c
    green onions ( greens & white)
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar

How to Make Cherry Grilled Chicken


  1. Combine everything but the chicken into a food processor. Blend until all mixed and chopped well.
  2. Place chicken into a large ziploc bag ( depending on how many pieces you are using) or a large bowl with lid. Pour cherries over chicken, coat well and stick in fridge to marinate for at least 3 hour.
  3. Yes, the chicken will be a reddish or purplish color, doesn't matter. Fire up the grill and cook over indirect heat until almost done, move chicken to flames for a couple minutes on each side to get some good grill marks. ( Can bake in oven if ya want, I will say, 350 until done)
