Ingredients
- BRINE
- 2/3 cup salt
- 2/3 cup bourbon (i use jack daniels)
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 8 cups water
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons crazy chicken blend from "the spice and tea exchange"
- 2 teaspoons brown mustard
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, fresh
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 8-9 - chicken pieces, bone in
- READY TO GRILL
- 1 bottle kc masterpiece bourbon bbq sauce
How To Make bourbon molasses bbq chicken.

Step 1Put salt, bourbon, molasses and water in large saucepan. Heat on medium low heat until salt melts. Add remaining brine ingredients except chicken. Heat through and cool completely.

Step 2Put chicken in a gallon bag. Add two cups of ice. Add cooled brine and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3Remove chicken from brine and dry it off.

Step 4Place chicken on grill and baste with BBQ sauce each time you turn the chicken. I usually turn every 7-8 minutes. Should be done in 35-40 minutes.
