Serve this as a sandwich covered in coleslaw OR on a toasted bun with shredded cheddar!' You will make this again and again! It's just delicious !

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken breast skinless and boneless
  • 3/4 cup chopped onions small dice
  • 3/4 cup sweet red peppers chopped
  • 11/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 12 ounces beer ( heinken i prefer)
  • 4 cups extra thick barbecue sauce

How To Make beer & barbecue chicken ( crockpot)

  • Step 1
    Place peppers and onions into crockpot
  • Step 2
    Place chicken on top
  • Step 3
    Mix the beer and barbecue sauce with salt and smoked paprika And garlic
  • Step 4
    Cook on Low for about four hours then remove chicken and shredd with two forks Return and cook about four more hours in sauce
  • Step 5
    OR on high about 4 hours
  • Step 6
    Remove lid and allow about 20- 30 Minutes heat off to thicken
  • Step 7
    Serve on toasted buns with cole slaw OR Great on nachos with melted shredded cheese ( I add some drained diced jalapeños too!)
