Someone gave my husband a head of cabbage and unless I am making soup I did not know what to do with it! This is what I came up with! My husband loved it so much I had to make it again to use up the other half of cabbage.

Pan Fry


2 Tbsp
cooking oil
4 clove
1 small
onion diced
1/2 to 1 lb
thinly shredded beef (can used cubed beef or cubed chicked)
1/2 small
small head cabbage shredded
2 large
1 red and 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 tsp
corn startch
1/2 c
1 pkg
beef bouillon (or chicken if that is the meat used)
1 tsp
ground black pepper

How to Make Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry


  • 1Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and add oil. Saute garlic and onion for about 5 seconds, then add beef (or chicken). Stir-fry until beef is evenly brown. Stir in cabbage and pepper, and cook until vegetables are tender, and beef is fully cooked.
  • 2Mix together cornstarch, soy sauce, water, and bouillon. Add and stir into beef and cabbage. Season with pepper. Cook, stirring, until sauce has thickened.
  • 3Serve over cooked White Rice
