A wonderful appetizer! Serve w/ different dipping sauce like soy/ginger, or sweet and sour. Or you could serve w/ some white rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground lean chicken
  • 3
    scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    each salt and pepper
  • ·
    canola oil for frying

How to Make Asian chicken bites

Step-by-Step

  1. In lg bowl, combine all ingredients, except oil for frying, mix well w/ hands. Pour 1/2" oil in deep skillet, set over med-high heat.
  2. Drop chicken mix by teaspoon-full into oil. Reduce heat to med-low. Fry chicken bites for about 5 mins or until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve w/ toothpicks w/ favorite dipping sauce.
