My family loves this one. It's my husband's favorite way to eat chicken on the bone. I use a show time Rotisserie. You may have to adjust the time on yours.

    2 lb. whole roaster/fryer chicken
  • ·
    seasoned salt
  • ·
    fresh ground pepper
  • ·
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, softened

How to Make Amy's Crisp & Delicious Rotisserie Chicken


  1. Wipe chicken with a cool damp cloth.
  2. Sprinkle chicken generously with seasonings and dot with butter.
  3. Truss chicken and place on spit in rotisserie.
  4. Set rotisserie to cook for 2 hours. Remove from spit and let chicken rest for a few minutes.
  5. Carve chicken into quarters and serve!
