  • 2 to 3 lb
    lean ground turkey
  • 4-5 large
    green peppers chopped
  • 6 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c
    minced onion
  • 4 c
    cooked brown rice
  • 2 jar(s)
    spaghetti sauce (24oz)
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2-3 c
    shredded sharp cheddar

How to Make Un-stuffed Pepper casserole


  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Cook meat, peppers, onions and garlic in large skillet until the meat and peppers are cooked. Drain.
  3. Mix sauce, rice and spices together and then combine with meat mixture.
  4. Spray casserole dish with cooking spray.
  5. Spoon mixture into casserole and bake for about 25 minutes, stirring every so often to heat evenly.
  6. Put shredded cheese over the top of the casserole and bake about 10 to 15 minutes, until melted and starting to brown.
