Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 - small onion, diced
  • 1/4- 1/2 jar beef brown gravy
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 4 - potatoes, boiled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • - a little milk, butter, salt and pepper to taste for the mashed potatoes.

How To Make sheperd's pie

  • Step 1
    Peel, cube and boil potatoes. Meanwhile, brown onion and ground beef. Break up beef as it's browning.Add brown gravy to ground beef.
  • Step 2
    Transfer beef to a 9 inch pie plate. Spread corn on top of beef. Mash potatoes with a little milk, butter, salt and pepper to taste. Spread potatoes on top of corn.
  • Step 3
    Bake for about 20 minutes at 350F, then sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake till melted (or broil, but if broiling, be careful you don't burn the cheese. )
