This is an absolute favorite in our house. My husband requests this all the time. Never any leftovers unless I make two and the leftovers are fantastic too! I usually have to double the sauerkraut and dressing because we love sauerkraut so much.

Ingredients
- 14 ounces sauerkraut, canned, rinsed and well drained
- 1 cup thousand island dressing
- 16 ounces corned beef, chopped
- 8 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
- 6 slices rye bread
- 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
How To Make reuben casserole

Step 1Mix sauerkraut and dressing in small bowl. Spread into a greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Top with meat and cheese.

Step 2Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place on top, butter side up.

Step 3Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Place under broiler if you want the bread to be browned more.
