Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground italian sausage
- 2 cans (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2-3 teaspoons oregano leaves
- 2-3 teaspoons basil leaves
- 4 ounces mushroom pieces and stems, drained or 8 ozs sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmeasan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 can (10 oz) refrigerated all ready pizza crust
- 1 - egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
How To Make pizza pot pie

Step 1Heat oven to 375. In large skillet, brown sausage; drain well. Stir in tomato paste, oregano and basil.

Step 2Spoon evenly into ungreased 13x9 inch pan. Top with mushrooms.

Step 3In medium bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and parsley. Spoon over sausage and mushroom mixture. Unroll pizza crust; press or roll to 13x9 inch rectangle. Place crust over cheese mixture; seal edges. With sharp knife, cut 1 inch slit in top of crust. Brush with egg; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese.

Step 4Bake for 30-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
