out of the pantry potluck
My husband always feels that my potlucks are when I am at my best. The problem is that I never write them down. Here is one of the few I remember.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces box of elbow macaroni cooked, al dente
- 8 ounces sliced baby bellas
- 4 slices bacon
- 8 ounces chicken, cooked and shredded
- 1/2 cup fontina cheese grated
- 1/2 cup asiago cheese grated
- 1/2 cup white cheddar grated
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 small chopped onion
- - salt to taste
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
How To Make out of the pantry potluck

Step 1Cook pasta acording to package al dente or less.

Step 2Mix chicken and cheese,

Step 3Fry the bacon until crispy or if wou want cook it in the microwave 1 minute on high per slice. When the bacon is done, drain and saute the bellas and onion in the bacon grease

Step 4Melt the butter and add the flour to make a roux. Add garlic powder to season. Add the heavy cream when it is thickened add the bacon, onion, cheese and chicken.

Step 5Mix the chicken mixture with the pasta and mix well. Put in an 9x9 baking dish and top with panko bread crumbs.

Step 6Bake at 350* F for 10 minutes or until bubbly. let rest 5 minutes and serve.
