My husband always feels that my potlucks are when I am at my best. The problem is that I never write them down. Here is one of the few I remember.

Ingredients For out of the pantry potluck

8 ozbox of elbow macaroni cooked, al dente

8 ozsliced baby bellas

4 slicebacon
-
8 ozchicken, cooked and shredded

1/2 cfontina cheese grated

1/2 casiago cheese grated

1/2 cwhite cheddar grated

1 1/2 cheavy cream
-
1 Tbspbutter
-
2 Tbspflour
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 smchopped onion
-
salt to taste
-
1 cpanko breadcrumbs
How To Make out of the pantry potluck

1Cook pasta acording to package al dente or less.

2Mix chicken and cheese,

3Fry the bacon until crispy or if wou want cook it in the microwave 1 minute on high per slice. When the bacon is done, drain and saute the bellas and onion in the bacon grease

4Melt the butter and add the flour to make a roux. Add garlic powder to season. Add the heavy cream when it is thickened add the bacon, onion, cheese and chicken.

5Mix the chicken mixture with the pasta and mix well. Put in an 9x9 baking dish and top with panko bread crumbs.

6Bake at 350* F for 10 minutes or until bubbly. let rest 5 minutes and serve.
