Mom made this alot mostly because Dad liked it. I have since revised it so my children would eat it.Don't make it much anymore cause kids have all left home.

1 lb
groundbeef
1 small
onion [diced fine]
2 medium
celery ribs [diced fine]
1 qt
home made canned tomatoes
1 dash(es)
salt
1 dash(es)
pepper
1 tsp
chili powder
1/2 box
macaroni, cooked

2 can(s)
tomato juice
1 can(s)
tomato soup[ no water]
1/2 box
macaroni, cooked
1 dash(es)
salt
1 dash(es)
pepper

How to Make Moms Goulash

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef,onion,and celery till pink is out of meat. Drain off grease.
  • 2Add salt, pepper,and chili powder cook for about 2 minutes stiring to blend flavors.
  • 3Add homemade canned tomatoes and juice.
  • 4Add macaroni and cook on low till heated through and flavors blend.
  • 5Revised version cook groundbeef till all pink is out of meat.Drain grease.
  • 6Add tomato juice,and tomato soup. Stir well.
  • 7Add macaroni, salt, and pepper, cook on low till heated through and flavors blend.
