Once cooked this lasagna freezes well. Everyone I have made this for loves it.

Ingredients

  • 10 cups my bechamel sauce
  • 15 cups my italian red sauce
  • 2 boxes lasagna sheets
  • 2 cups parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • - freshly grated nutmeg
  • - black pepper, freshly ground

How To Make lasagna for a crowd

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350F. In a large lasagna dish layer 5 cups red sauce, 2 1/4 cups bechamel sauce & lasagna sheets, repeat twice.
  • Step 2
    On top layer of the lasagna, layer 3 1/4 cups of bechamel sauce, 2 cups of parmigiano-reggiano and sprinkle with the nutmeg and black pepper.
  • Step 3
    Cook for about 1 hour or until a butter knife slides thru the lasagna sheets easily. Remove from oven and let stand for about 20 minutes before serving.
