italian shrimp and rice casserole
This was a throw together casserole that I came up with while trying to use up leftover ingredients and clean out the fridge. It became a family favorite.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shrimp
- 2 cups cooked leftover rice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 bottle zesty italian dressing
- - basil for garnish
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make italian shrimp and rice casserole

Step 1Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Step 2Melt butter in saute pan and saute onions and garlic until onions are translucent.

Step 3Mix together all ingredients except for shrimp and basil. Bake for 20 minutes. Add shrimp and bake another 10 minutes. Garnish with basil
