This recipe came from my mother-in-law, it's one of ,y husband's favorites.

She always says's it's a great use of leftover mashed potatoes. Hah! We never have leftover mashed potatoes!

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato soup
  • 1 can(s)
    peas, drained (i use frozen pras)
  • 2 c
    mashed potatoes (you can use instant in a pinch, i often use garlic mashed potatoes)
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce

How to Make Hamburger Pot Pie


  1. Brown ground beef and onion, drain
  2. Add worcestershire sauce and UNDILUTED tomato soup
  3. Add peas (drain if you're using canned)
  4. Place into greased casserole dish
  5. Top with mashed potatoes
  6. Bake in 350 degree oven for about a half hour, until potatoes start to brown
