I have made this for my family for a while now. I love the sweet flavor that the brown sugar gives the meat and adding the tomatoes and broccoli just rounds up the flavors.

prep time 15 Min

method Bake
yield 6-8 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chopped cooked ham
  • 12 ounces cooked turkey bacon but into pieces
  • 3 medium red potatoes steamed and sliced
  • 1 cup shredded or sliced cheese of your choice.
  • 4 slices bread of your choice
  • 24 - eggs, whipped
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 dash salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (optional)

How To Make faux quiche breakfast bake

  • Step 1
In an oblong 9" by 13" glass pan, place your meat. The heaviest things need to go on the bottom.
  • Step 2
Next, sprinkle the brown sugar if you want it. It's optional.
  • Step 3
Layer the spuds so they just touch and salt and pepper them
  • Step 4
Sprinkle on the cheese and place the bread on the top. I cut the crusts off this type of bread as it's very strong. If you use white bread you don't have to.
  • Step 5
Beat the eggs and add the tomatoes and broccoli to them. Pour evenly over the bread and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes.
