  • 2-3 c
    cooked chicken, cut up
  • 1 pkg
    (12) ounces medium noodles, cooked
  • 1 can(s)
    (2 7/8 ounce) french fried onions
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 ounce) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 ounce) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c
    milk or sour cream
  • 1 tsp
  • dash
  • 1 can(s)
    (8 ounce) chopped mushrooms, drained
  • 3/4 c
    shredded cheddar. cheese. (optional)

How to Make The Best Chicken Noodle Casserole


  1. Mix noodles with chicken, mushrooms , cheese and seasonings.
    Add 3/4ths can French fried onion rings and mix well.
  2. Mix soups and milk together and add to noodle mixture. Mix well.
  3. Put mixture into a greased 3 quart casserole dish.
  4. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
    Uncover and add rest of French Fried Onion Rings and bake 10 minutes more.
