A delicious casserole of ground beef, cheese, chilies, and tortilla chips. From my recipe files.

  • ·
    1 lb. ground beef
  • ·
    1 small onion, chopped
  • ·
    1 small can chopped mild green chilies
  • ·
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • ·
    large bag of tortilla chips
  • ·
    2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Cheesy Beef Tortilla Chips Casserole


  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet. Remove from heat. Drain well.
    Stir in the green chilies and mushroom soup.
  2. Put half the mixture in a oblong casserole dish. Put broken tortilla chips on top of this.
    Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar cheese on top.
  3. Spread the other half of beef and mushroom soup mixture on top of this. Followed by more broken tortilla chips. Now sprinkle the other cup of cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
