Tastes just like Cabbage Rolls except you don't have to spend all the time rolling them up. I always add a bag of sauerkraut (drained) to mine.

tomato juice
1 med
cabbage head
3 lbs
ground beef
1lb
sausage
1 lg
onion
1cup
minute rice
2
eggs
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 lg
green bell pepper, diced

How to Make Cabbage Roll Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix all ingredients except cabbage & tomato sauce.
  • 2Cut cabbage into bite size pieces. Put a layer in bottom of large pan and then layer meat mixture. Keep doing this till you use up all the cabbage and meat mixture .Keep a Layer cabbage for the top.
  • 3Pour tomato juice over top of cabbage. Cover and cook on medium heat 2 1/2 hrs to 3 hrs. Until meat is done.
