baked noodles in sour cream
I got this recipe a from a friend a long time ago. It is tasty and I am not even a fan of red sauce. I modified it a bit.

Ingredients
- 1 bag egg noodles 8 oz
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 jar tomato sauce 15 oz
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make baked noodles in sour cream

Step 1preheat oven to 350.

Step 2cook noodles according to package directions. drain and set aside.

Step 3In stockpot or dutch oven, melt butter and brown meat. (can also use ground turkey instead of beef).Add seasonings and onions and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 4In a large bowl, combine noodles, cottage cheese and sour cream. Spoon half of mixture in bottom of 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. cover with meat/sauce mixture. Top with remaining noodle mixture. Sprinkle cheeses on top.

Step 5Bake 20-25 minutes until cheeses melt.
