stuffed cheeseburger peppers
Who doesn't like Cheeseburgers? I came up with this and two other Stuffed Pepper ideas while trying to think of different ideas for dinner. This takes me back to my days of spending summer nights at the Little League ballpark as my brother played and my parents were officials on the Board. Enjoy and let me know what you think

Ingredients
- 4 - large bell peppers
- 1 pound lean ground beef 93%
- 1 - good size onion
- 4 slices american cheese
- 3/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- - 2-4 toasted hamburger buns depending on size
- 1/2 cup cup french's mustard

How To Make stuffed cheeseburger peppers
-
Step 1Season the meat with salt and pepper until no longer pink. While the meat is cooking toast the buns and set aside.
-
Step 2Chop the onion and pickles. Toss in with the meat (don't cook through as you want them crunchy). Add the mustard, or you can use ketchup or a combination depending on your family's taste
-
Step 3Crumble the toasted buns finely into the meat. Add cheese and stir until melted
-
Step 4Stuff peppers and place in an 8x8 baking dish. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Serve with chips or French Fries
