This is a casserole I have made for a long time and I have always had rave revues on it. So I thought I would post it in case someone else would like to have a easy casserole dish to feed their family. Hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    pkg. egg noodles
  • 1 large
    chopped onions
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground chuck or boston burger
  • 1/2 c
    chopped bell pepper (any color)
  • 1 c
    cottage cheese
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Zelda's Company Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Brown together the meat, onions, peppers ,and seasonings. Add the cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese and tomato sauce. Simmer this for 1/2 hour. Alternate layers of noodles and meat mixture in baking dish and dot with butter. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
