Ingredients
-
3 lbsirloin rump roast or your favorite type
-
1 1/2 cpinot noir wine
-
5garlic cloves, whole
-
1 pkglipton dried beefy onion soup mix
-
3/4 cwater
-
1 pkgbaby carrots
-
1 lbbutton mushrooms
-
2bay leaves
-
1 Tbspthyme, dried
-
1 Tbsptarragon, dried
-
·salt & pepper to taste
-
few dash(es)worcestershire sauce
-
·good quality olive oil to brown the meat
-
·all purpose flour to dredge the meat in
How to Make Yummy Pot Roast
- Place the meat in a crock pot that is set on high.
- Add all ingredients except the carrots and mushrooms and and bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low and cook for 4-5 hours. In the last hour add the mushrooms and carrots.
- I like to serve it with mashed potatoes and a green vegetable.
