This was my mothers favorite winter recipe. it always was a family favorite.

Ingredients For vegetable beef soup

  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • flour
  • 2 to 3 lb
    chuck roast, cubed
  • 4 md
    potatoes, cubed
  • 2 lg
    onions, diced
  • 3 lg
    carrot, sliced
  • 1 lb
    frozen mixed vegetables
  • 4 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 2 can
    diced tomato's (28oz.)
  • 2 can
    beef broth (32 oz.)
  • 7 lg
    dashes hot sauce
  • 4 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped bazil
  • 4
    bay leaves
  • 1/4 c
    parsley flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make vegetable beef soup

  • 1
    Flour & Brown Meat in the Olive Oil.

    Add all remaining ingredients
  • 3
    Cover & simmer 2 to 3 hours or until all ingredients are tender
