Ingredients For veal milanese

  • 4 slice
    veal cutlets,4 ounces or more,sliced thin and pounded.
  • 1 lg
    egg beaten
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 2 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 bottle
    cooking oil
  • 1 bunch
    arugula
  • 2 md
    radishes,grated
  • 1 md
    carrot,grated
  • 4 sm
    tomatoes,fresh,quartered
  • 1/2 lg
    cucumber,seedless,diced
  • THE DRESSING
  • 1 lg
    lemon,juiced and zest
  • 1 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 pinch
    each of white pepper,garlic powder and salt

How To Make veal milanese

  • 1
    Begin by dredging the veal in the flour then the egg,then the bread crumbs,repeat. Brown the veal in one cup of hot oil,350 degrees for 90 seconds per side,drain on paper towels.
  • This meal is light,crispy and flavor bud popping all in one! You have to try this at least once in your lifetime!! :)

    Assemble the salad,toss with the dressing and cheese and spoon over each cutlet,serve with a lemon wedge. Enjoy!! :)

    Note: To make the dressing I place my stainless steel mixing bowl and wire whisk in the freezer for 30 minutes. This little trick helps emulsify the dressing quickly. Just squeeze in the lemon juice,add the zest and spices and slowly drizzle in the oil while whisking vigorously.
