This dish started because hambuger was the only meat we could afford. But now the family ask for it.

Ingredients

large onion, sliced
1
large green pepper, diced
1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 can(s)
14.5 oz diced tomatoes
1/2 c
instant minute rice
2 Tbsp
chili pepper
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
oil

Step-By-Step

1Place onions and green peppers in oil and fry until partial soften. Add ground beef and cook, stiring until brown.
2Drain off fat. Add the other ingredients and stir well. [The dish may be stored in the refrigerator overnight at this point, and baked the next day.]
3Bake covered at 350 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes.
