- 1 - large onion, sliced
- 1 - large green pepper, diced
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup instant minute rice
- 2 tablespoons chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
How To Make texas hash

Step 1Place onions and green peppers in oil and fry until partial soften. Add ground beef and cook, stiring until brown.

Step 2Drain off fat. Add the other ingredients and stir well. [The dish may be stored in the refrigerator overnight at this point, and baked the next day.]

Step 3Bake covered at 350 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes.
