tex-mex three bean crockpot chili
I make this chili starting in the fall. It is delicious and my family loves it! It is a bit spicy but could be tamed down with a few adjustments.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey if preferred
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3-4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon gound cumin
- 1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can great northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 10 ounces can tomatoes with green chilies (mild, reg or hot)
- 1 can tomatoe juice 12 oz. can add more for desired consistency
- 6 ounces can tomatoe paste
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - shredded cheddar cheese
- - sour cream
How To Make tex-mex three bean crockpot chili

Step 1Cook beef or turkey and garlic until brown. Drain. Stir in chili powder and cumin; cook 2 minutes.

Step 2In crock pot combine beans, onion, green pepper. Add undrained tomatoes with green chilies, tomato juice, tomato paste, and salt. Stir in meat.

Step 3Cook low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

Step 4Top with cheese and sour cream if desired.
