Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 pound ground beef or venison
- 1 large onion chopped about 1 cup
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons chopped red jalapeno i used christopher ranch jarred chopped jalapeno
- 1 large can pork and beans
How To Make tex mex hunters stew

Step 1Cook bacon in large skillet. Remove with slotted spoon to drain on paper towels then chop into pieces. Set aside.

Step 2Brown the onions and garlic in bacon grease for about 3 minutes. Add the burger or venison and cook until done.

Step 3In a large bowl mix together the remaining ingredients. Pour over the burger mixture. Cook until heated through about 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 4Stir in the bacon pieces and cook another 2 minutes.
