This recipe works well in the slow cooker too... You can add pineapple to change it up a little as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 14 oz.cranberry sauce
  • 1 bottle 400 ml hp sauce original
  • 1 bottle 400 ml hp sauce fruity
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits, optional
  • MEATBALLS:
  • 2 pounds ground lean ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 2 teaspoons dill, dried
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, fine dry
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup water

How To Make sweet and sour meatballs

  • Step 1
    Sauce: Mix all ingredients together in a pot heat until brown sugar is disolved. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients until well combined, form into 1 inch meatballs.
  • Step 3
    Put a few meatballs at a time in frying pan, brown well.
  • Step 4
    Transfer to Casserole dish and pour sauce over the meatballs and bake in oven for an hour and a half. Serve over rice...Enjoy
