stuffed peppers w/ground beef & italian sausage

Ingredients
- 3 large green peppers
- 2 pounds ground beef 80/20
- 1/2 pound ground italian sausage
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon rice, uncooked
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 cup cooking wine
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How To Make stuffed peppers w/ground beef & italian sausage

Step 1cut peppers lengthwise and take out the seeds

Step 2In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the last three.

Step 3In a large pan...place the tomato sauce & wine...start simmering....fill each pepper ( equally) with the mixture, place in the sauce and drizzle with the olive oil....

Step 4simmer for 30 mins....and occasionally pour sauce from bottom of pan over the tops of the peppers...garnish with parsley and service with white rice.
