steak portobello
We had this served to us at the French Farmhouse Restaurant in Geneva, Ohio (no longer there, sadly). We loved it so much that we experimented at home until we came up with this. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients
- 1 package kroger mesquite marinade
- 2 - steaks of choice
- 2 large fresh portabello mushrooms stems removed
- 2 slices swiss cheese
How To Make steak portobello

Step 1Mix the marinade per package directions and marinate the steaks at least 2 hours, but overnight is fine.

Step 2Grill steaks on one side about 5 minutes.

Step 3Turn steak, place mushroom, cup up, on top of steak. Grill another 5 minutes (or so).

Step 4Turn mushroom so cup is down and top with swiss cheese slice.

Step 5Continue grilling until cheese is melting.

Step 6The time will vary, depending on how long you choose to marinate and how you like your steak cooked.
